Paperlink connects to Claude and ChatGPT through a remote MCP server, giving your AI assistant direct access to your Paperlink workspace. Once connected, you can ask your assistant to create an invoice, look up a client, check which documents are pending, or run any other workflow — in plain language, without opening the app.Documentation Index

What the integration gives you
The Paperlink MCP server exposes 70+ tools covering every major area of the product:- Documents and sharing - search your library, create sharing links, and check who has viewed a document
- Invoices and estimates - create, update, send, and track the status of invoices and estimates
- Clients and companies - look up contact details, create new clients, and manage your client list
- Products - browse your product catalog and add or update line items
- Accounting - query transactions, financial accounts, and category breakdowns
Connect on Claude.ai
Open Settings
Go to claude.ai and click the gear icon in the sidebar to open Settings.
Add a custom connector
Click Add custom connector and fill in the following fields:

Connect and authenticate
Back on the Connectors list, click Connect next to Paperlink. A browser window opens asking you to sign in with Google. Complete the OAuth flow to authorize the connection.
You can only add new connectors from the claude.ai web interface. The iOS app, Android app, and desktop app can use connectors that are already connected but cannot add new ones.
Device sync
After you connect on claude.ai, the connector automatically syncs to the Claude iOS app, Android app, and desktop app. You do not need to repeat the setup on each device. Any device where you are signed in to the same Claude account will have access to Paperlink tools immediately.Claude plan availability

Connect on ChatGPT
ChatGPT supports MCP connectors as well. Add a custom connector using the same server URL —https://mcp.paperlink.online/api/mcp/mcp — and follow the prompts to authenticate. ChatGPT MCP support requires a Plus plan or higher.
What to ask your AI assistant
Here are examples of what you can say once the integration is active:- “Show me all unpaid invoices from this month.”
- “Create an invoice for Acme Corp for 3 hours of consulting at $150/hour.”
- “Which documents did I share last week and have any been viewed?”
- “Add a new client called Brightwave with the email hello@brightwave.io.”
- “What’s the total revenue recorded in the last 30 days?”
- “Mark invoice #204 as paid.”
- “Create a sharing link for my Q3 pitch deck that expires in 7 days.”
- “List all estimates currently in Draft status.”
When you ask Claude to take an action that modifies data, it will show you the details of what it is about to do and wait for your confirmation before proceeding.
